Saturday, January 29, 2005 || Change is Good... Sometimes.
- Well, well... two weeks of non-bloggin'. Looks like I got much stuffz to write on now, but I shall keep it short n' sweet.
The reason why I haven't been really bothered to update my blog was the fact dat I've been rather lazy lately. Other than the daily dose of MS n' TV (I'm becomin' a couch potato), there was nothing else but pure slack in line. Isn't dat wat 1st 3-months is abt? Hahaz, well not really I guess. Started studying some econs. stuff two dayz back cuz this comin' Wed a test is @ hand. It sure is tough to go back to studying after slakcin' for so damn long (like abt close to 2 months alrdy). Whippin' up my mind-mappin' skillz was oso 1 big challenge I faced, feelin' dat is wasn't necessary but still... you reap wat u sow yeh? So basically, I spent 2-hrs plus concentratin' on econs. along w/ mind-mapping the info. out. *Surprisingly* I felt gd after dat, a sense of achievement I haven't exp. in a long time. No exaggeration there, cuz dats wat I normally feel after I study, though mentally exhausted. Well... nothing like a gd 2-hr study to perk u up for other activities, like playin com. So ok I havent been really slackin'... Is dat suppose to be gd or bad? I think its pretty rhethorical.
Other then the revamp to past home-lifestyle (yeah call me a nerd/geek), school life has changed too... for the better. My class has decided to name every Tues 'pizza day' while Thurs will be 'Mac's day'. Dunnoe wat dat means? Well, my class will basically be orderin' pizzas n' MacDonald's on Tues n' Thurs respectivately, much to e' delight of classmates. Thnx to DX for the wonderful intiative hahaz. Plan went into action this past wk, n' we had a sumptious break on both Tues (which had 1 1/2 hrs break... woot!) n' Fri (DX wasn't in on Thurs). Peepz out there... u shld try this some day. Hahaz... talk abt bad influence. But all MI'ans shld agree dat the fd @ e' canteen sux rite? How shld I put it in a less crude manner... well... there's no other way I can put liaoz. OK lemme think of Africa n' the starvin' pple... ok the fd can be improved there yeah? (D.W. scorns)
Church commitments haf oso piled up. Hahaz, well thnk God for convicting me to pray more fervantly as I'll be steppin' up to G12 assistant leader soon. E' recent Wed was my last G12 @ Sengkang, n' now I'm being shifted to a new G12 in Hougang. This guy by e' name of Devon will be leading there, n' I reckon he is a Christian w/ a punch cuz I saw him readin' the Bible on a bus recently, something which most of us Christians wouldn't want to. Hahaz well, he's oso got exp. in this G12 leadership (was assistant leader in another Sengkang G12), so I trust he will do a gd job. Praise the Lord for usin' such fervant guy like him! O yeah... I'm gonna be a librarian @ the newly opened CD Library in my church. Now cool's dat? Yeah, I've oso been asked to come up w/ a name for it. Currently it stands: The Jukebox. Something like dat. So faithful blog-readers... if u've got any interesting names to call it (no foul language), juz e-mail me or tag yeah? Ur contributions will be most recognised.
Haiz... so many changes. I'm not sure whether its truely gd or bad... but only time will tell. I do not noe wat e' future holds, but I noe who holds e' future: God. Well, looks like this blog's gonna be stagnant for a while. Until I sort out my commitments then will I be able to revamp this blog a lil' (something which I've been wanting to do for a long time). Until then, keep readin' n' bloggin' peepz. I shall be headin' off now for my church's Ocean Leagues soccer match (yeah my team won 1 match 1-4 last wk). Alantic Dolphins rulez!!! Tuesday, January 18, 2005 || (*o*)Return to Reality(*o*)
- Oh yeah! I'm back... yes after a long stop from bloggin' after 2 wks or so (-_-"). Hahaz. Actually, D.W. has been b'z w/ stuffz @ e' new sch enviroment of MI(Millenia Institute), which is juz across from my alma mater, Bartley Sec. *Sobx* MI sure makes u miss ur former schools lol.
Kickin' off the new yr. was a return to sch life... ok not really @ dat pt. yet. Meetin @ MI w/ JS n' Polly, we found out dat we were in diff. OGs, much to our dismay. Everyone was like so quiet, n' the emcee forced us to like mix arnd w/ pple front-left-right-back of us. Manz! Well, got to mix arnd pretty well though. Orientation went on as usual (yeah the usual JC orientation w/ dances n' games). Probably the most difficult prt. was the dancing cuz my coordination has slowed dwn a lil' (lack of Aikido practice), n' oso not forgetin' havin' to hold a gal's hands n' hips. Doh! Hahaz well I shan't act immatured. It was kinda... nice? I'm not perv mind u. Well u can say I'm deprived of feminine attention eh? Ok, maybe dat wasn't the worst yet, cuz e' nxt day there was a game dat involved burstin' balloons. If I haven't said this b4, I shall say it now... I HAF BALLOON-PHOBIA!!! Yeah so practically covered my ears for e' entire game not darin' to do anything but stop balloon burstin' pple from goin out of a circle they were assigned to be in. @ least the 2nd day of orientation wasn't as bad as e' 1st day. So obviously 3rd day everyone was more relaxed w/ ea. other. Yah so dat ends 3 dayz of orientation. OK dat was juz a summary, but the orientation was very fun I tell ya (though it was a pre-conceived notion dat it would go badly in the long run). Other than the students forcin' the emcee to pole-dance (which he did), n' Js dancing w/ a sweaty-palmed gal (he really detested dat), there were many other laughs I've porbably forgotten. Well, memories will be history still.
Alrite, sch hasnt' been fine e' past few dayz. MI's building basically is built on a hill n' has been there for abt... 100 yrs (it was formerly Zhonghua Girls Sch or something i think)!!! Pretty cool huh? Not so cool when u see the building for urself. Unfortunately, I can only gaze @ the newly built Bartley Sec. juz across e' road. Wah!!! Yeah its dat bad. Not dat the new Bartley Sec. sch building is bad... in fact the interior n' exterior looks like a JC! Talk abt leavin' Bartley quickly (something which all upper sec classes were desirin' for lol). Ironic isn't it. Well, this notion came abt probably when we entered Macpherson Primary's former sch building which is as rundown as MI's. Thnkfully, I'll only be in MI for 3-months... yeah! Unfortunately, I've made a promise w/ God to do well even for the 1st 3-months no matter how bad or rundown the place may be. It does prove dat talk is really CHEAP! Haiz... u can't play God out manz. W/ the Holy Spirit... may I do the best I can... something which I haven't been doin' as of yet - *blehhx*.
MS, MS n' more MS. Yeah, so haf been uping my stats in MS these past few dayz. Didn't really haf the mood to study e' lecture notes so everyday I juz reutrned home for e' sake of cheongin' com. Think my myopic degree's gonna increase very soon. God help me, God help ME! Now its all abt discipline... something which I haven't practiced in a long time. Haiz.
When we miss out on discipline, God alwayz brings it back to us... in the case of today... the hard way. PE isn't gonna be any fun unfortunately cuz today's PE lesson kicked off w/ physical conditioning, n' it will be phy. con. for the nxt few wks or so. Haiz... it was really torture both mentally n' physically (esp. physically). Surprisingly, I felt extremely refreshed after dat, though tired. Thnkfully, we had 1 1/2 hrs of break time, so managed to recuperate my strength enough to stay until 3.00p.m. cuz my class, O5B11, has Lit. until dat time every Tues (the main reason why several pple "chabot" sch today). Yeah so can call me "guai" or wateva lol. Well, I can't play out God rite?
Haiz so many things to do, so lil' time. Time to buck up, time to buck up! Snap back to reality! May God help me return to discipline! May those oso havin' these 1st 3-months in either JCs or 3-yr Pre-Us wrk hard. My cousin's sufferin' now cuz he wasn't diligent during dat period. Let this be a warning... even to myself. Its hard to share to u this todae when everybody's thinking 1st 3-months is to slack. Stone me if u will, but I shall keep my promise for my future's benefit. N' u pple shld too. Reality can be harsh... but dats the way it is.
Well, I shall stop here. I've got a injured finger to tend to, due to a b-ball match I had today. Hopefully, I dun get killed in the nxt PE lesson. Peace out n' GB~!
