- Yes, where have I gone? Hahaz. Well, I noe I haven't been exactly updating this blog very much (well the last update was on my tag-board where I posted against this spammer). 2 months back was the last official update, and it feels gd to be back bloggin'.
Dun blame me if this post ends up being long-winded and all, cuz much things I have to say.
1st... my life in Poly. Not exactly the relaxed kind of system there, cuz assignments are aplenty... which is gd! Keeps ur mind wrkin' ya' noe. So you can say Poly life is stressful too, but the level is (if I can put it in such a way) an octave lower compared to the kind of pressure u get in a JC. Nothing against those who haf enrolled in such institutions. I personally think you guys will go thru' an enriching experience which all will envy eventually. Kudos to the JC peepz! Anyway, I do enjoy being in a Poly. Although u wun make frens that end up as close ones (smth that pple in a JC experience), you get to do much things at ur own time and pace (although I haf a substantial amount of hmwk dat requires immediate attention at some times), which is smth I actually take in my stride. There's only one thing I really can't stand sometimes: the demanding teachers. Hahaz, well I guess dats for our own gd. Training us and preparing us for the working-life where sometimes the higher authority can be rather... *ahem*... unreasonable. Still on the whole, Poly rox! (Hope u dun take this as propaganda for NYP...)
2nd: Church. Actually thr's nuthing much to talk abt it, except that recently I got stumbled by my parents when they told me not to be so committed to the church activities. Why? Cuz they think it's takin' up too much of my study time... smth like dat lah. (FYI - My parents are one of the longest running members of the church already, my dad being a home cell leader and Director on the church's board). When I asked them if I could go for the CGI at Korea this comin' Oct (which is my long 1 month semester break), they said it was too expensive, which is true. I can't believe they're so concerned about how much its gonna cost them when its actually to fund some1 goin to seek God's revival! Anyway, I've been prayin' ever so fervantly to God so dat I can go to the world's largest church (pastored by world-renowed Rev. David Cho Yonggi). Now, its juz waiting for an answer. I'm still a lil' mad at my parents for sayin' such things. Hopefully God will open their eyes somehow *sighzz*.
3rd: I've been rather hooked onto this new game called Gunz: The Duel (I'm trying' to cut down on playin' it), which is one of the reasons why I have missed out on updatin' this blog. A great online game, and would remind many of the award-winning Jedi Outcast first-person dueling game. Hahaz call me a sucker for online games cuz I dun haf the budget to fund my gaming desires. Well, those that like Counterstrike and JK2:JO(esp.) shld find this game rather explosive and thrillin'. Go check it out!
Ok dats all for now. U can be guranteed I'll return on time nxt time for another update. Hopefully my video gets replaced w/ a new link soon, so ya'll wun juz see a blank screen ont he player. Peace out and GB!
