Wednesday, October 27, 2004 || !!#Fatal Blow#!!
- Ever felt wat its lyk to be run over by a 8-wheeler truck? Well, I'm almost feelin' it rite now. I've been hit by the FLU BUG(ZzzzzzzzZZZzZ... splat).
Ok, I'm exaggerating. It really sux to haf a flu bug, esp. knowing ur major exams are juz `5 DAYZ` AWAY!!! Almost burst out cryin' the morning I contracted this flu. Haha... ok another exaggeration. I will make this post quick(w/ regards to me going against doc's orders of resting by typing this account out.
Sunday: Received a wonderful word of God from Pastor Dale abt fearing God. Yep, you can tell it was a pretty strong msg. Anyway, it really made me reflect on how I've been treating God. Instead of Him serving us, we shld be serving Him. Funny thing is dat we actually do not deserve his blessings... but cuz of Jesus' crucifiction(hope I spelt it correctly) and God's unconditional love we are liberated. Well, nothing lyk a sermon of scolding to also give you confidence, cuz in fearing the Lord he will also provide and give wisdom. May I fear The Lord all the way into e O's... YEAH!!!
Monday: Shld have known the flu was comin'... Damn!!! My nose kept runnin frm 9 in the morning all the way until 12(3 hrs/3 boxes of tissues lol). So you can say itz my fault for not consulting my mum on that day abt this condition, and thus she kept scolding mi'You brought this upon urself!!' Haha, the truth hurtz sometimez...
Tuesday: Came down w/ the %FULL BLOWN% impact of the flu, but continued praying for divine intervention for my mistake(Arghhhh! again). Still went to maths tuition(which iz always on Tuesdays@Kovan Centre) and received some good newz: Marathon session's on this Sat or so I hope. This marathon means intensive studyin @ my tuition centre 8pm-2am. Woot, may God gimme strength to attend it on dat day... AH CHOOOOOO!!!
Today: Recovered a bit. Flu symptoms are having less effect now so studying wasn't really a prob. So far the day's been good and God is showing mercy. HALLEJUAH!!! Hopefully can catch Masked Rider Ryuki later hehe.
Well it endz here. Gotta get some rest b4 I study again later. Peace Out & GB.

Friday, October 22, 2004 || `SG Idol & Time`
- Time, time, TIME!!!
Datz wats everybody's screamin' for as the O's near. Ok, maybe onli for the 4Es/5Ns cuz PSLEs and exams are all over for the rest. One thing dats gonna occur in conjunction w/ the O's iz the A's, so *ALL THE BEST* to the JC peepz out there.
Well, life has been really stressful. So many things to do, yet ^SO LIL' TIME^. There's simply no mercy as one heads into the O's. Sometimes u juz think back and wish u had done all that consistent studying rather than hangin' out w/ ur frens or hitting ur fingerz on the keyboard of the computer. Fortunately school's cut some slack by giving O LVL students a break nxt wk and come as and when they feel lyke comin. I sure haf to go back nxt wk to clarify some doubts. May God gimme the will to do so(LOL)!!!
I've missed much of the SG Idols on 5 this two wks, onli managing to get a glimpse of Maia's performance last wk(not yesterday), which was 'live disco'. Man, I tell ya... Maia's GONNA WIN. Shez got e whole package man: lookz, voice, attitude, and the SUPERSTAR aura when she performz. One thing i do object though: FLIRTING W/ Sylvester. Ok, now dun arrow mi juz yet. Sylvester got the voice and attitude too, but he's not good enough for Maia la!!! So pls vote for MAIA!!! LOl, I'm so evil :P. @ least Jerry's finally out, and i hope dat 2pid Chris 'WIN BY GOOD LOOKS' Lee will be eliminated soon(most hopeful by tonite's results show damnit). He's simply depriving others of the chance to win(quote and unquote by Ken Lim or one of the judges>>>i can't remember). VOTE WISELY SINGAPORE!!!
I shall end here. Nothing much really happended this past few days for mi other then finally bidding farewell to some of my teacherz *SOBZ*. As for the D&T students in my class... they onli mentioned MR. LEE(D&T TEACHER) w/ onli 2 words: !GD RIDDENCE! Haha... life surely didn't go well for them. Well, do ur best ok?

Saturday, October 16, 2004 || {[(What the Future Holds)]}
- Hey peepz. DW here sayin hi once again. Well, the heading may imply to you dat todae I'm gonna prophesy. YEAH RITE!!! Actually, I've been given much encouragement thorughout this week from the events that haf been played out during this wk. They haf given me somewhat of an inspiration you may say to even speak abt what i think will happen in the future for me. Hallejuah!
Well, God, despite my slackeree-do-dee actions this wk, has shown me what we can't find in human strength we can alwayz find it in Him. Basically I've been praying to Him very fervantly throuhout this week, and God has shown to mi what my potential short-coming was. You may not haf guessed it(esp. my frens readin thiz Blog), but that short-coming is complacency. Haha, can't believe ur ears rite... this comin from a NERD u muz be sayin. Actually, itz true dat I've been complacent as much as i hate to admit it. Who likes to admit their short-comingz...
Thnkful, i prayed to God abt this yesterday, and today he really helped mi out in my SS homewrk. Haha, prayer does wrk... but not w/o hardwrk. Today waz completely spent on brushing up on the studies i've missed out on this wk, including my prep for the O lvl SC. practical dats gonne take place on the 18th Oct.(dat is... THIS MONDAY!!! AHHHH). @!!Pull hair!!@ Then again, God has shown mi itz not impossible to score for this prac. cuz got confidence from the *PRELIMZ* resultz in my SC> PRAC. (Phy 11/15, Chem 7/15>>>Yeah failed but i did well for my paper 3... 56/65). May God give me wisdom for this prac... AND MAY I NOT SLACK!!! (^_^")
NYJC's openhouse was on Fri(a.k.a I LOVE NY). Many of the courses were quite interesting, which means I truly haf a future there lol. Was there w/ Specz Patrol gang(namely JS and Kenny>a good fren of mi & JS), excluding Wai Yiu who feelz he can't make it to the JC although his studies are better than mine and JS(mainly cuz of the good teacherz he has in his class). Ultimately had an enjoyable time there, having a tour of the achool w/ two tour guides which were quite cute :P.(eh i hear ya JS). Enjoyable not bcuz of the tour guides, but bcuz of the many friendly staff they haf there. Well, may God bless me w/ the greatest of resultz 2 get in there. Now I'm more determined than ever for sure. The day went on w/ a VERY VERY LATE LUNCH w/ JS, Bryan(JS's church fren), and Josh @ PastaMania b4 going home to catch Masked Rider Ryuki @ 6.15pm(towards the last part *SOBZ*).
Ultimately, what the future holdz still depends on GOD's will for mi. He's purpose as promised for me is finally starting to show. The light @ the end of the tunnel is finally showing even in the darkest of moments now. 2 more wks to the O's. Gambatte for me and those taking it.

Monday, October 11, 2004 || ^=-God's Goodness in Disguise-=^
- Wow... itz one week +plus+ alrdy and I've not UPDATED MY BLOG!!!
Hahaz, probably due to post-exam stress. Yep... juz like mi good fren JS(who juz got beaten by some unreasonable freak of nature a few dayz back), we're not headin' any time soon for 3-months JC, much to our disappointment. Got 22pts but I SHAN'T disclose da details.Juz to mention dat mi POA sucked badly. Still, God has been faithful to mi throughout this wk.
Definately blessed by my parents 25th WEDDING ANNIVERSARY that took place this past Thurs(celebrated that day, but actually supposed to be on Wed). Very honoured to noe dat hardly any couples in my church ever make this far so soon. Thank God forevermore for his preserving power in my family's life. Other than the BIG(and I mean !BIG!)buffet dinner dat totally blessed my stomach and almost screwed it up the nxt day(God punished mi for being greedy), I'm also thankful for the new DiMage vid cam my folks got as an Anniversary present. It'll be cool since now I've got something to load photos from onto my com... other than frm my T610.(-_-")WEllz thnk God for that present as well.
MY parents to me are true living examples of God's grace. Such motivation certainly couldn't have come @ a betta time than this when I've onli left abt 3WKS!!! to my 1st O' Lvl paper---The dreaded MT!!!. But now there's some support there going into the O's cuz I got a B4 for chinese this PRELIM!!!(Almost collasped when i read the result in my report book). Quite funny though cuz now my ENG got C5!!! What a disgrace for a guy comin' frm an eng. speaking family.
Well, juz reflecting on my results the other day has caused me to come to a conclusion... maybe if God had given mi gd markz, I'd probabley be too complacent as of now to even wrk hard. God juz noes mi too well to let mi falter once again. Thus, juz thnked God for even helping mi to DO DISAPPOINTINGLY for my prelims. Oh the irony you say. Hahaz... in truth dats juz wat you get when u mix SAm w/ the True & the Living God.
Well, dats it for today. To those who have suffered the same or similar fate as mi... there's still 3Wkz to go b4 the real test comes. Perserve. To e Christian bros out there... trust the Lord w/ all ur Heart and lean not onto ur own understanding. In All Ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct ur path.

Friday, October 01, 2004 || Post-War >>> End of *PRELIMZ*
- Woohoo... DW back here y'all to *Update* this blog. Well *PRELIMZ* are over, the last exam in this school of BSS. Quite tempting to use the com today.
Well itz not like I havent been using the com @ all for the past few days in the presence of e *PRELIMZ*. Haha... but God is truly graceful. Got back #MATHS# paper^1 today and itz... 54/80. NOT BAD FOR A PERSON WHO"S BEEN FAILING MATHS SINCE SEC`2!!!... LOLx, could have done better though. Turly itz the grace of God ultimately. Now letz hope the other paperz are ok. Although POA(Accounting) was !screwed! and so were many other paperz, this *Prelim* has shown mi one thing so far... rewards doesn't come w/o HARD WORK and perseverence.
Still, God is nvr short of miracle$. His purpose in my life still has to be carried out. Haiz, now itz time to move on to the O's. STRESS STRESS STRESS. Lol. My school'z even making every student in the GRA@DUATING CLASSES stay back every MON-THURS frm 2-5 after school. Plus... truncated time tables!!! Manz, life in O YEAR is truly getting more stressful.
Well, hope the rest of you haf done well for your RESPECTIVE prelims. For mi, letz see if the results nxt wk enable mi to make it for 3-months JC>>>(fingerz-crossed).
