Thursday, March 24, 2005 || Here it Comes Again
- Wah... now its illness again. This time I've got the flu after a much powerful revival @ Synergiz Conference on Thurs, n' then Planet Shakers concert on Saturday rite after my church outreach session on dat day. Lolz, it seems my health is deteoriating... or does God wanna speak to me?
Well, God's will certainly has been done, now dat I've received my posting results to... CJC. Hahaz! Looks like competition is stiff for application into NYJC. Still, Thnk God for putting me in a JC still... He certainly noes I wun last long in a Polytechnic. I dun mind CJC actually. In fact, I like it. The blue uniform, the flaming crest etc. Juz didn't blend in well during yesterday's orientation which they named HOT Encore. They probably named the 1st orientation HOT (I still dun get wat it means). Anyway, it was a pretty "sianz" atmosphere as what u would normally get on every 1st day of orientation in a new sch. OK so it wasn't dat bad, havin' to interact w/ a few through a complicated mass dance, a few ice-breakers, n' recess.
I feel like stopping here rite now... In fact I will, probably not feelin' like bloggin' today. Hahaz, short n' sweet looks like I'm breakin' the sitgma of long-windness amomg the male gender. Haiz, pray dat I'll be back soon to update... cuz I can bet'cha its gonna be a long wk nxt wk. Peace out & GB!

Wednesday, March 16, 2005 || ---Life Goes On--->
- Wah! It feels gr8 to finally come out of illness. Sure wouldn't wanna get in the way of God's plan for my life once again. N' as surely as I'm healed (Hallejuah!), its time for a lil' blog update.
U'll be seeing lotsa changes comin' comin ur way in e' wks (or maybe days) to come. I'm tryin' my best to revamp this blog gradually so ya'll visitors can adapt to this blog easily. Well, can't blame me for tryin' to be user-frenly' eh'? Hahaz. Ok, onto the recent events. Saturday was fasting day for me again. Though I wasn't fully recovered yet, I managed to oull thru w/ the strength of the Holy Spirit. Isn't it marvellous wat u can do w/ e' Holy Spirit? Later was Prayer Focus @ EVC for Leaders who were fasting. I muz say though some prayer request were pretty unnecessary (like praying for smokers in this country to kick e' habit etc.). Nvrtheless, we shld uphold all things to God who gives us strength. Broke fast @ 5.00 p.m. eating chicken rice. Returned home w/ no appetite for dinner, but still followed my family to a nearby coffee-shop to haf a family-feast, much to the annoyance of my sis, whom my dad told we were goin to SSC(Singpore Swimming Club) to eat. Well, my sis is a very spoilt child, not able to accept things went events dun turn out her way. So yes, she had an argument w/ my parents n' me. Still we stayed on. I nvr give in to a spoilt brat, n' so do my parents. So we got back later, n' almost forgot abt Batman of the Future: The Return of the Joker. Unfortunately it was alrdy the last 40 mins of e' show, finding out dat the new Joker was actually Tim Drake (formerly Robin) or something like dat. I think its becuz Tim Drake stole the Joker's conciousness or something, den took over Drake's body. O well, it was a nice last 40 mins anyway, followed by a chinese variety show, b4 goin to bed.
Sunday was another day @ church, n' another msg which didn't really speak to mi. Pastor Dale preached abt The Fantastic 4. Dun wry, Marvel comics had nothing to do w/ this sermon. It was abt how God used 4 women to be Jesus' lineage, though these women were not His chosen ones(Jews). Yes it was abt how God can use (or bless) a person regardless of ur backgrnd. So this msg was pretty *duh!* to mi. Still, I believe sometimes I myself fail to recognise God's divine intervention in things, so went out during altar call to ask for gr8er faith in Him. Dat nite's dinner was chicken rice (again) so this time I was complaining. Gd thing my parents reasoned well w/ mi so it didn't erupt into something big. Hahaz... I'm so egotistic!
This is gettin' pretty long @ this pt. so I shall shorten this. Mon: Aikido @ new CC (which is juz a 5 mins walk from my home) called The Serangoon. Injured my foot becuz the guy I was practising w/ kneed mi there while I threw him. Still hurts manz *ow*. Pain's wearing off though. Tues: Found this new game called Iron War which is fast-paced. It involves robots, n' its like ur actually ctrlling a Gundam woot! Muz try... n' not for the faint-hearted. Updated my IPod Mini w/ new songs from BoA (recent single - Do the Motion) n' T.M.Revolution ("Zips" from a Gundam SEED MSV advert'). Slept late watching Glass Shoes (touching Korean story airing every Mon n' Tues, 11 p.m. on Ch 8. Pity if u haven't been watching it, cuz its now into the final few eps. I think).
Well hope dat was short enough so as not to bore u. There's a general assumption among galz dat boyz, when bloggin', r' long-winded. I'm tryin' to correct dat notion, so I shall end here. Do continue to tag as I'll be updatin' much on the template... so give ur reviewz! Peace out & GB!

Friday, March 11, 2005 || ~~~''Learning the Hard Way``~~~
- When God teaches u a lesson, sometimes its for the best. I've juz come out of a very terrible fd poisoning illness, much due to my disobedience to God n' his callin'. Lets juz say dat was oso e' reason why I haven't been keeping to the 3-day update routine.
Well b4 I go into dat, I'll update u on wat happened last Fri'. Yes, the Jap special event (called J-Culture) I was talking abt took place in church. Rev. Nobunari Funatsu (son of Dr. Yukio n' Kyoko Funatsu) was e' special speaker dat night, sharing a msg on The Love of God. Good msg delivered, though @ certain intervals I couldn't really make out wat he was sayin'. His team of youths from Kanazawa Christ Church did two Japanese songs for us... one the famous 'Sanbi Shu' n' e' 2nd one was... some name I couldn't really recall. Anyway, nice performance, nice fd (Jap fd Ichii-ban!), n' oso nice stalls were set-up by my various church youth regions. Brought my Freedom n' Justice Gundams there to exhibit, much to my dismay cuz everyone was touching n' making my exhibits drop so I had to like keep re-adjusting em'. Lolz. Ok but I oso brought a few GSD mini-figurines which Wai Yiu bought from HK, n' yes u can't topple a mini-figurine unless u really sweep it off. Gd special event overall, although I really didn't haf a chance to interact w/ the J-Team lolz. (Refer to my church's webby for a recap of the special event.)
Following Sunday n' Sat' was as usual. Church on Sun' w/ Rev. Nobu' (as he prefers to be addressed) once again, this time talking abt 'Who's Your Daddy' - all abt havin' faith in God.
How timely the msg came juz a day b4 I defied his callin' by poning sch on Mon juz to go out w/ my classmates to watch movie (Assault on Precinct 13). Btw, do not watch AOP 13 unless u're really into gun-fight n' stand-off sequences, cuz it completely lacks a gd storyline. A sucky movie n' a sucky day as I could feel a gastric flu comin' on the way. Wats worse I went on my movie spree once again on the nxt day, watching Hitch w/ my Bartleyan frens. Gd show, but dat day I returned home w/ a excruciating pain in my stomach. Couldn't slp the entire nite until 4 a.m., n' my slumber didn't last long either, as I woke up an hr later n' regurgitated all dat I ate during breakfast, lunch n' (yes) dinner. Powerful eh? Well, sparing the gory details, I had diahorrea later but the pain went dwn lil' by lil'. A painful lesson delivered by God I muz say, n' even today I'm not yet fully recovered, still feeling a lil' uneasy in the gut. However, dats the price I've gotta pay for defying God's callin' to remain faithful to MI. Muz rmb, where-eva God has placed u, whether its a sch or a wrkplace, dat's God's callin'... dun defy it! I've learned it e' hard way. Maybe its oso a sign dat I muz learn not to pon anymore, n' oso, to eat more veggies... ack!
Wats e' irony of it all? Hahaz... well the irony happened today. Do refer to several new contacts I'm gonna put up soon on this blog. Dat ends it for this entry (short eh?). O yeah... did I mention dat today's my last day in MI? Hahaz. Once again shan't post e' ans here... new contacts to be up soon so refer to em'. Peace out n' GB.
