Sunday, May 22, 2005 || Long, Long Time Ago, In a Galaxy... Actually its here on Earth!
- Yes... Long, long time ago... a man named Samuel Toh blogged. Now he's back... after a long hiatus that from posting personal entries that is. O' well, much has changed since the last time I went into JC. Life's been juz all abt wrk, wrk and more wrk... until now.
Many complications have arisen since the orientation at CJC. Voices inside me keep tellin' me "why are you actually doing this for?" Well peeps, if ya'll haf read my entries countless times, ya'll would noe that I'm into IT. IT = Science and Maths. Science & Maths =/= Arts. So now I've gone to appeal into NYP's Digital Media Design, which I thnk God, was successful.
Yeah dat's basically to cut the whole story short. Still, I've been through lots during CJC even during these past 2 months, makin' new frens, experiencing completely another side of education dat I've nvr seen b4, and getting stressed beyond my limits. I would like to take this time to thnk a few grps of pple dat haf made my life in CJC a lil' more pleasent.
1st of all, it would be most fitting to mention the class of 1T01, my 1st class in CJC b4 I was transferred to 1T05. Thnx peeps for teachin' me how to slack in CJC. More importantly, thnx for being a wacky class w/ a mix of Tau-Huay/Ah-Beng addicts (dat's rite... Clarence "Claire" and Alloysus "Lu Lu") and juz plain crazy pple. Sad to haf left ya'll, or wat u'd all describe in Hokkien manner, "pang-seh".
2ndly, I muz attribute much of enjoyment oso to 1T05, a class slightly more toned down becuz of the "muggers" I met there. Thnx to Aaron "Mugger Muthu" Chan, for teachin' me dat nothing is impossible if u mug, Ivan "Kinky" Tan, for providing 'sa-a-ti-re!" to the class, Jia Wei, for the makin' feel like I'm better off than some ppl tearin' at their hair 24/7, and... basically to every1 else cuz ya'll haf helped in 1 way or another. O yeah... Saf... U've been a gr8 encouragement... will miss ya. Will miss ya'll! (>.<)
3rdly, to Ms Lee, my HTC in 1T05. Thnx for being a gr8 HTC, and for guiding me even through the past wk in my decisions. Rawk on! (>.<)
Well, dats all the thnx I would haf... for now. It may sound kinda sudden dat I'm now goin to Poly, esp. after mentioning it was God's will for my life. Well, considering that God has miraculously opened a door for me to go Poly even 3 wks b4 the course of DMD starts shows dat maybe I had misinterpreted JC as His will for me. Or maybe he meant for me to go in there to experience something rather than lazing arnd and rottin' my life away?
At this pt., however, I'm certain of takin' the route through Poly, though it may require more independence, something which I still haf to wrk on in terms of academic pursuit on my own. Still, if God's hand's in it, who can go against it? No doubt it could end up as stressful as JC life (some pple pressume the extreme JC pressure was the reason I pulled out), but I'm willing to go through something which I actually like at least.
Well, I will update proper on my daily happenings in the nxt few entries to come. Apologies for this late yet long entry (dun wry it'll be short nxt time). Until then, Peace out & GB.... and... May the Force be with You! (I'm gonna watch SW Ep-3 tmr ~ woot!)
