Monday, February 28, 2005 || Let God's Will be Done
- Praise the Lord Forever & a Day!!! Today's probably one of the happiest moments of my life... scoring well for O' Lvls; L1R5: 14!!! Ok ok... all glory to God in the Highest yes? Well, many things I wanna thnk God oso in this entry.
Thnk God for blessing me w/ a gr8 fasting period so far. You can say fasting did do the trick for me in scoring 14 pts. Now I've got renewed faith in God... Hallejuah. Well, many things I've prayed for haf come true, other than my results. My sun-burns r' starting' to peel off now, n' my grandma (she had a mild stroke 2 wks back) has finally been discharged on Sunday. Take it from mi Christians out there... fast w/ the heart n' desire to see gr8 things fulfilled n' God will grant em' to u. Juz can't believe the amazing things God can do... once again... Praise the Lord!!!
On Friday, went to HOF as usual, w/ Pastor Dale, my church's Youth Pastor talking abt compassion for souls... which really got me to realize wat I was lackin' in on this road of tryin to win the lost. We all pray for the burden... but he has put forth a gd pt. Rather than a burden, we shld pray for compassion for the souls out there. After all, love is the gr8test gift of all. So pray dat God will give all us Bros'/Sis' in Christ out there COMPASSION yea?!
Saturday was Prayer Focus day n' preparation for a 'Japanese' event this comin Fri' (do check out my church website for more details if interested). Went to church in late afternoon to cut bamboo for the stall my region will be setting up, den went up to 4th lvl later to pray for church requests for 1/2 hr b4 breakin' fast. Came home, found out my sis' was ill w/ flu (probably from band or sumthing), den only went out w/ my dad to Chomp Chomp (which wasn't as crowded as I expected) to haf a sumptous dinner - woot! (Sting-rays, Ba Chor Mee, Orh Luat). W/ all dat fried stuffz, u can imagine how full my 'tank' was aft' dat lolz. Fats = High Satiety Value.
Sunday was church as usual. Other than a sermon on Seizing the Opportunity, which I almost fell aslp to (it was preached by John Bueno in the Youth Church camp 3 months back), my grandma was oso discharged (God preserves... Yayyy!!!).
Ok... juz wanna say dat today was kinda pessimistic abt my results n' all, partially due to the fact dat lotsa ppl got the NIE letter (which we were constantly talking abt)... n' I didn't. Thnk God the rumours abt those gettin' it haf actually 17 pts n' below weren't true. Trust the newz website (which I got the rumour from) to deliver something like dat.
Well, for those who didn't do as well as you expected... um... I can't really encourage u. However let this word sink in. Rmb dat God does everyting for a purpose, even though sometimes we may not like it. I like to use Job as an example many a times. God actually let the Devil touch him a take away everything he had in one nite. Yet, it was God's purpose to bless him even more through dat. Job did not swear or curse against God, rather he blamed himself for the mishaps (not dat I'm askin' u to blame urself). When his predicament was over, God blessed him 2 times of everyting he had b4 n' more. Maybe God's testin' u today... but trust in the Lord, lean not on ur' own understanding, n' in all wayz acknowledge Him, n' He shall direct thy path. Peace out n' GB. Now onto the monthly thnx...
